J. Craig Wheeler is an internationally recognized authority on black holes, white dwarfs and supernovae. He is chairman of the Astronomy Department at the University of Texas in Austin and a member of the American Astronomical Society, the International Astronomical Union, the Aspen Center for Physics and the Texas Symposium of Relativistic Astrophysics. The Krone Experiment is his first novel.
